ROADMAP SECTION

- What does the roadmap include?

The Roadmap to reuse and upcycling includes ten collected podcasts, motion infographic videos, titles and icons, all related to topics of upcycling, circular economy and generally, sustainability, which present practices from Bulgaria, Cyprus, Hungary, Slovenia and Spain. The section also includes the Digital Flipbook.

- How can I access the podcasts from the roadmap?

Each podcast can be accessed by clicking on the title of each Roadmap station. It is hyperlinked to YouTube.

- How can I access the motion infographics from the roadmap?

Each short motion infographic video can be accessed by clicking on the round image at each Roadmap station. It is also linked to YouTube.

- What language are the podcasts and motion infographics in?

While the motion infographics are only in English, podcasts have been translated to Bulgarian, Greek, Hungarian, Slovenian and Spanish. Subtitles can be found under “CC” option of each YouTube uploaded podcast.

- How can I use the Flipbook?

Imagine it as a digital book, a collection of prepared materials for the ScaleUpCycling project. It’s a teaser to what you can read and learn about on the HUB and it’s a learning material itself as well. You can share it with your colleagues, students and friends! Just click on it and start turning digital pages.

HUB SECTION

- Do I need a registration to view the Hub?

No, you don’t. But if you wish to comment or post it is required. You must be registered to fully use the Inspiration corner, Ideation tool and Initiatives tool sections.

- Is there a limit to how many posts I can publish on Inspiration corner and Ideation tool?

No, there is not. The limit is to publish only upcycling related posts.

- What is the difference between Inspiration corner and Ideation tool?

The main difference is that in the Inspiration corner you upload and discuss ready-made ideas, while in the Ideation tool you can search for advice or ideas on how to give your old item a new life. Also only in the Inspiration corner you can embed a video from YouTube, Facebook or TikTok.

- What exactly happens when I fill out the form in the Initiatives tool?

By clicking on the Generate button, your scenario is saved in a pdf format and displayed in the top right in the Generated Scenarios section. From there you can download and then print it.

- I have an upcycling event that I want to spread the word. Can you help me?

Yes, gladly. Please, use the second section on the right in the Initiatives tool to send us information about your upcoming event. We will publish and distribute it.

E-LEARNING SECTION

- What kind of information can I find in the modules?

In the training modules, you can find information about upcycling, theory about human impact on the environment and the need to mitigate its consequences for the future, examples of community activities and how to involve them, practical exercises and things related to youth opportunities at the European level.

- Are the modules free?

Yes, they are for free and completely available in the HUB in English and all partners' languages.

- Do I need registration for the e-learning modules?

No, you do not need to register to read and download the modules, but we invite you to do so anyway so that you can share ideas from your community with people.

- Can I download the modules?

Yes, the modules are downloadable in PDF format. You can download them from a computer or from a cell phone.

- Can I use this information?

Yes, but remember to cite the project “ScaleUpCycling with reference number: 2021-2-CY02-KA220-YOU-000050282” and, being a project funded by the European Commission, it is important to make visible the work and effort that goes into these actions.
